Gentrack Group Limited
(ASX:GTK) has announced it has signed a multi-million dollar contract with Hunter Water Corporation to provide a new billing and customer management system.
Hunter Water is a state owned provider of water services to over half a million people in New South Wales, and was the first utility in Australia to offer a ‘user pays’ water system.
Gentrack CEO Ian Black has indicated the selection of the business by Hunter is an endorsement of Gentrack’s expertise and focus.
The project is expected to be completed in 2018 with Gentrack indicating the announcement has no bearing on its previously announced financial outlook for FY17.
Shares in Gentrack Group Limited
(ASX:GTK) last traded 1.31% lower at $4.53.
