Spotless Group
(ASX:SPO) has announced it has appointed Dana Nelson as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, with immediate effect.
Dana has been the logistics business’ Chief Operating Officer since July 2015.
Her hire comes as Martin Sheppard resigned to pursue opportunities with Downer EDI
(ASX:DOW) who are in the process of taking over Spotless.
The company says despite the challenging period for Spotless Group, Martin Sheppard left the firm extremely well positioned for growth.
It comes as Downer EDI
(ASX:DOW), which owns 87.4 per cent of Spotless Group
(ASX:SPO) extended its takeover offer for the ninth time. Downer is offering Spotless Group shareholders $1.15 cash per share.

(ASX:SPO) are 0.2 per cent higher to $1.15.
