Sonic Healthcare profit after tax attributable to members falls 5.4% FY17

Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) has reported its profit after tax attributable to members fell 5.4 per cent in the 2017 financial year to $428 million. 

The global pathology and diagnostic company’s revenue climbed 1.4 per cent on the previous year to $5.1 billion.

Sonic Healthcare’s EBITDA rose over 5 per cent on the prior year to $869 million.

The company also declared a final dividend of 9.20 cents.

Shares in Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) are trading about 0.4 per cent lower to $22.99.
