Catapault snaps up Athlete Management System for $1.9m

Catapault (ASX:CAT) has snapped up a leading Athlete Management System (AMS) for elite and prosumer markets for $1.9 million.

As part of the deal the company that provides scientifically-validated metrics to advance athlete performance, will buy SportsMed Elite and Baseline Athlete Management System (AMS) products and clients.

Catapult will also recruit key personnel from SMG Technologies.

The company says the deal is pivotal to its evolution as the global market leader in elite sports analytics.

Shares in Catapault (ASX:CAT) are trading 2.66 per cent lower to $1.92.
