Flight Centre Travel Group
(ASX:FLT) has added a mobile agency group, Travel Partners, to its leisure network.
The largest retail travel outlet in Australia added the Sydney based business, which has strong sale force of home-based and mobile travel agents to its distribution network.
Travel Partners generated $70 million in total transaction value (TTV) in the 2017 financial year.
While the purchase price remains confidential, the purchase is booked settle in the first half of FY18 using cash proceeds.
It comes just days after Flight Centre Travel announced it would acquire New Zealand’s Travel Managers Group.
Shares in Flight Centre Travel Group
(ASX:FLT) last traded 1.02 per cent lower on Friday to $45.47.
