St Barbara
(ASX:SBM) has announced it hit record production in FY17 of 381,000 ounces of gold (koz), exceeding its overall production guidance of 365 to 375 koz.
The gold producer and explorer also revealed it is debt free with $161 million cash in the bank, as at the end of the 2017 financial year.
In more good news for St Barbara, it also reported record low, All-in Sustaining Costs (AISC) of $907 per ounce.
At the same time, the company says it improved its injury free rate and it hit a record low of 1.2 per cent at 30 June 2017.
St Barbara says with organic growth underway it is also positioned well for inorganic growth.
