Zicom jointly invests $2M in med-imaging start up

Zicom Group Limited (ASX:ZGL) in partnership with SPRING Singapore, has invested $2 million in medical imaging software startup, Pellucid Networks Pte Ltd. The transaction is through Zicom’s wholly owned subsidiary MedTacc (Zicom MedTacc Pte Ltd).

The equipment manufacturer says Singapore-based Pellucid Networks is revenue generating, and is currently in a growth phase.

Pellucid offers cloud based ophthalmic programs and platforms, to assist eye-screening processes in the early detection of vision impairment.

The company says the investment has been funded from internal resources, without external borrowings.

Shares in Zicom Group Limited (ASX:ZGL) last traded at 12 cents.
