Buddy Platform
(ASX:BUD) has inked an agreement with Digicel for its Buddy Ohm product to be marketed, sold, distributed and installed across its 26 markets in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Internet of Things (IOT) data management, processing and control platform’s product, Buddy ohm, will be branded by Digicel, which is a major mobile phone operator reseller.
Buddy Platform says the extremely high cost of electricity in some Digicel markets creates a significant opportunity for Buddy ohm and Digicel.
The company says, the product will fill a gap in the market and reduce customers energy costs, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Shares in Buddy Platform
(ASX:BUD) are trading 13.6 per cent higher to 12.5 cents.
