Sprintex appoints CEO

Sprintex Limited (ASX:SIX) has appointed Tyrone Jones as its new CEO, with effective from last Monday, 3 July 2017.

The car supercharger company’s acting CEO David White, will remain with the company as Deputy Chairman.

Sprintex says Tyrone Jones joined its Senior Management team in 2014, and has a mechanical and aircraft engineering background.

He worked with GE Aviation as Business Leader On Wing Support in the Middle East and Africa, and was responsible for deploying teams to repair aircraft engines across the globe.

Tyrone Jones also supported the set up of GE’s facilities in Xiamen, China, Budapest and Hungary.

Shares in Sprintex Limited (ASX:SIX) closed over 13 per cent lower yesterday to 26 cents.
