Crown Resorts
(ASX:CWN) has announced Company Secretary, Michael Neilson has stepped down after 13 years, following a restructure of the company’s legal and compliance function.
The gaming and entertainment giant says Michael Neilson will remain with Crown Resorts for a transitional period, while Mary Manos will continue to act as Company Secretary. Mary Manos will also become General Counsel.
Meantime, Helen Coonan has been appointed as Chair of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee, to replace Ben Brazil following his resignation.
Helen Coonan has served as the Minister for Revenue and Assistant Treasurer, while she also had a portfolio oversight of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA).
Crown also advised that it will be suspending its buy-back of subordinated notes until a day after it releases its full year results, which is scheduled for tomorrow 4 August 2017.
