Nanosonics expands into Japan

Nanosonics Limited (ASX:NAN) has announced it has entered into Japan, through a strategic relationship with infection prevention company Sakura Seiki Co. Ltd.

The medical development company says it will use the partnership to introduce Trophon® ERP, used to prevent ultrasound probe cross-infection, into the Japanese market.

Nanosonics says local clinical studies are planned, to support making Japanese specific guidelines on ultrasound probe decontamination.

The company says it will dedicate Japanese staff to support Sakura Seiki with local clinical and marketing initiatives over the next six months.

Shares in Nanosonics Limited (ASX:NAN) are trading 3.94 per cent higher to $2.64.
