Ardent Leisure monthly theme park revenue falls

Ardent Leisure Limited (ASX:AAD) has announced its theme park revenue fell over 35 per cent in May to $3.9 million for the month.

The owner of Dreamworld and other leisure assets says, its monthly revenue fell after visitations to its parks dropped about 36 per cent in May from the prior month.

Ardent Leisure says despite the falls, both visitation and revenue did however improve, when compared to March/April’s results.

The company says Dreamworld has remained focused on driving revenue, in the lead up to the June-July school holidays, with the launch of its June 2018 season pass, and the return of afterhours events.

Shares in Ardent Leisure Limited (ASX:AAD) are trading 0.94 per cent higher to $2.15.
