Mermaid Marine Australia Ltd
(ASX:MRM) has won a Chevron contract that will see the firm provide supply base services to the energy giant at its North West shelf operations, located offshore from Western Australia.
The contract is due to commence in January next year for an initial 3.5 per year with options to extend.
For the year ended 30 June 2010, Mermaid Marine generated a net profit of $38 million.
