Central Petroleum enters voluntary suspension

Central Petroleum Limited (ASX:CTP) has entered voluntary suspension of its securities from 31 May 2017.

The petroleum company’s voluntary suspension is pending a company announcement concerning approval from the Supreme Court of Queensland.

The company says the approval will provide shareholders with supplementary disclosure materials to the Scheme Booklet dated 28 April 2017, and will postpone the Scheme Meeting.

CTP requests that the voluntary suspension continue until the release of the company announcement, or by Thursday 1 June 2017.

Shares in Central Petroleum Limited (ASX:CTP) are in trading suspension.
