Audio Pixels Holdings Limited (ASX:AKP) says vendors of its micro-electromechanical structures (MEMS), used in its patented digital audio technologies, will meet the original delivery expectations reported on 25 January 2017.

The world leader in digital loudspeaker technologies says the delay from vendors’ original delivery estimate, was because of frequent testing and enhanced optimization techniques, used through the fabrication process.

Audio Pixels says it will be receiving a batch of wafers from vendors, which have shown extremely positive results, including more than a 30% reduction of the high voltage operational requirements.

The company says vendors will continue to apply optimisation efforts to the device’s “points of contact”, to keep precision uniformity and repeatability of the functional timing requirements.

Shares in Audio Pixels Holdings Limited (ASX:AKP) closed 16.88% higher to $18.00.
