The South African Government has lifted the suspension of the integrated water use license for the Coal of Africa Limited
(ASX:CZA)’s Makhado Project.
The thermal and coking coal developer says the South Africa Minister of the Department of Water and Sanitation lifted the suspension after an appeal was lodged in May 2016.
Following the government’s support, the company will now be able to advance its electricity project, the Makhado Project, which is in the Limpopo province of South Africa.
The decision also completes the necessary approvals that were needed for the project.
