Afterpay Holdings Ltd
(ASX:AFY) has entered into an agreement with New Zealand-based ecommerce website, Trade Me Group Ltd
(ASX:TME), to be its exclusive 'buy now, pay later' provider.
Afterpay says Trade Me is New Zealand's most visited ecommerce site, with a monthly audience of about 1.78 million, and over 4.7 million live onsite listings.
The company says the agreement is also the company's first logical step into international expansion.
The agreement will also provide Afterpay with the opportunity to generate a strong New Zealand market presence.
Shares in Afterpay Holdings Ltd
(ASX:AFY) are trading 0.39 per cent higher to $2.58.
