Slater and Gordan files class action against Spotless Group

Slater and Gordan (ASX:SGH) has filed a class action in the Federal Court of Australia against Spotless Group Holdings Limited (ASX:SPO).

The legal firm filed the proceeding on behalf of shareholders who acquired an interest in Spotless between 25 August 2015 and 1 December 2015.

The statement of claim against Spotless, alleges that the firm breached the Corporations Act with misleading or deceptive conduct and continuous disclosure obligations.

Spotless says it strongly denies the allegations of wrong doing and will defend the proceeding.

Shares in Spotless (ASX:SPO) closed flat yesterday at $1.12.
