Austin Engineering
(ASX:ANG) says a fatal accident has occurred at its Calama facility in Chile on Monday 22 May 2017.
The engineering company reported the employee died after a crane operation was being carried out in the evening.
Austin Engineering says while the local employee receiving immediate assistance, the worker died at the scene.
Chilean authorities have been notified and Austin’s Calama facility has been temporarily closed pending an ongoing investigation.
Counseling services are being offered to the family.
Shares in Austin Engineering Limited
(ASX:ANG) closed flat at 16 cents.
