Coca-Cola Amatil’s group company secretary resigns

Coca-Cola Amatil’s (ASX:CCL) Group Company Secretary and Corporate Counsel, Katie Newton-John has resigned, with effect from Friday 19 May 2017.

The soft drink giant says Ms Newton-John has been an extensive and invaluable contribution to the company over many years.

The company’s Group General Counsel, Betty Ivanoff, who was also appointed additional Company Secretary will remain in her role.

As part of the Board renewal, three other Non-Executive Directors also retired from the Board, while Mark G Johnson was appointed Chairman of the Audit and Finance committee.

Shares in Coca-Cola Amatil (ASX:CCL) closed 0.21% lower yesterday to $9.60.
