Engineering company Monadelphous Group Ltd
(ASX:MND)has been awarded a long-term offshore maintenance services contract in regards to the Ichthys Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project.
The Icththys Project is located in the Browse Basin, which is around 450 kilometres from Broome, Western Australia.
The contract was awarded by INPEX Operations Australia and is for an initial period of six years, with the option for a further two-year extension.
Monadelphous‘ role will include delivering operational, campaign and shutdown maintenance services and brownfield projects implementation.
Yesterday, Monadelphous shares closed 1.39% higher at $12.42.
