OceanaGold Corporation
(ASX:OGC) has announced its net profit after tax and impairments lifted to $36 million in the first quarter of 2017.
The gold and copper producer’s revenue also strengthened to $161.8 million for the quarter ending 31 March 2017, up from the prior period.
OceanaGold was also able to lift its quarterly gold production to a record of 147,956 ounces after it commenced production as its Halie Gold Mine.
As a result the corporation achieved record quarterly EBITDA of $101.7 million.
