Alcidion ceases to support Remedy software

Alcidion Group Limited (ASX:ALC) has announced it is ceasing to support Remedy Healthcare with its Bespoke Software solution.

The clinical software provider was commissioned by Remedy Healthcare in 2008 to develop a chronic disease management system to be used by staff for patient support. But by 2010 the focus of the software morphed to phone coaching support.

Remedy Healthcare also grew and significantly diversified its customer base after it acquired service providers who already had their own internal support systems.

As a result, Alcidion says it made good business sense for both companies to de-commission the bespoke software, with effect on 30 June 2017.

Shares in Alcidion Group Limited (ASX:ALC) last traded 4.48% lower at 6.4 cents.
