Wattle Health Australia (ASX:WHA) has signed a Heads of Agreement with a leading mothers’ and babies’ chain in China.

The Melbourne-based company will supply its infant formula to 100 key stores, operated by the Aiyingdao Zuhai Business Chain Ltd, across mainland China.

Wattle says both companies will soon start negotiating a long-term supply agreement to stock Wattle’s infant formula at more than 1,000 Aiyingdao stores.

The company says its infant formula has been accredited by China Inspection and Quarantine Services, and this deal will give it access to a large national store footprint as it expands the Wattle brand in China.

This morning, Wattle Health shares opened steady at 39 cents.
