The Reject Shop expects a $5M loss in 2H

The Reject Shop (ASX:TRS) has announced its expecting to report a net operating loss of at least $5 million in the second half of 2017.

The discount chain says it’s because it is continuing to experience challenging retail conditions, with all states experiencing negative store growth in the third quarter.

The Reject Shop’s WA and ACT stores have been the hardest hit. 

As a result the group expects its full year net profit will reduce to $12.5 million.

Shares in The Reject Shop (ASX:TRS) are currently trading 29.55% lower to $5.58.
