Engineering and infrastructure company, RCR Tomlinson
(ASX:RCR), has been awarded a contract to design and construct a major utility solar farm located at Manildra in NSW.
The contract is valued at around $85 million and the Manildra solar farm will be built with a total capacity of 48.5MW.
The company says construction is scheduled to commence in June 2017, and is expected to be finished by the second quarter of 2018.
Earlier this month, RCR was also awarded an $80 million-plus contract to build and operate the first stage of the Gannawarra solar farm near Kerang in Victoria.
Yesterday, RCR shares closed 0.62% lower at $3.24.
