Senex Energy Limited
(ASX:SXY) has announced it has secured a strategic arrangement with EIG Global Energy Partners.
EIG received Foreign Investment Review Board approval to invest in the oil and gas explorer and producer, Senex Energy Limited.
The approval will see EIG hold about 12% of expanded Senex issued capital.
Senex Energy Limited also raised $55 million via a placement to EIG, as well as to institutional and sophisticated investors.
Senex Energy Limited says the firm is ideally placed to grow in the east coast gas market.
