Coca-Cola Amatil Board to change at AGM in May

When Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd (ASX:CCL) holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 16 May, there will be quite a few personnel changes.

Amatil’s Chairman, David Gonski, will retire at the AGM, and will be succeeded by Ms Ilana Atlas.

Three non-executive directors will also retire at the AGM including Wal King, Tony Froggatt and David Meiklejohn. And the Board plans to appoint Mark Johnson as Chairman of the company’s Audit and Risk Committee.

The company expects the Board will continue at its current size of nine members.

Last month, Coca-Cola Amatil reported an underlying first-half net profit rose 6.2% to $417.9 million. And this morning, shares in the company are tracking 0.58% lower at $10.35.
