Alcidion Group (ASX:ALC) has entered into a collaboration agreement with Cavalry Health Care.

The health informatics company signed a deal to assist Cavalry with streamlining clinical coding and patient data across their facilities.

Alcidion will also provide analytical services to Cavalry to scope opportunities for improved clinical coding – which will enable Cavalry to consolidate data from various clinical and non-clinical IT systems.

Cavalry, which operates public and private hospitals, retirement and aged care facilities across the nation, says this deal is part of its innovation strategy and is overall digital transformation.

Yesterday, shares in Alcidion closed 16.92% higher at 8 cents.
