Rio Tinto Limited
(ASX:RIO) has announced it has appointed Philip Richards to its Executive Committee as Legal Group Executive.
Rio Tinto says his 40 years of legal affairs experience will be a real asset to the group.
Philip Richards will look after all of Rio Tinto's legal services and has already been acting in the role since December 2016 while on secondment from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Philip Richards has specialised in corporate law and previously worked with global companies including Barclays and Tesco.
