Elders Ltd
(ASX:ELD) remains positive about outlook for 2011, saying sales in the first two months of its new financial year was much better than two years ago.
The company, which has lost $450 million over the last two years, says its results thus far are ‘favourable, on track and well ahead’ compared to a year before.
The improvement has been driven by its rural services division which in turn was boosted by improved agricultural business conditions and reforms in the company’s sales functions.
For the year ended 30 September 2010, Elders reported a net loss of $212.5 million.
