Spotless Group Ltd
(ASX:SPT) says it has secured a UK company called Event Management Catering Ltd for around $5 million.
Managing director Josef Farnik says the acquisition positions the company to provide integrated facility services offering to UK clients, as well as being in line with its international service strategy.
In 2010 Event Management Catering generated revenues of around $15 million. Just last week Spotless also announced it has scored a contract with BHP Billiton Ltd (ASX:BHP) Nickel West to deliver cleaning and maintenance services in Western Australia.
Spotless has also forecast underlying earnings before interest and tax of between $42 million to $45 million in fiscal 2011.
Spotless Group posted a steady profit of $43.5 million in the 2010 financial year.
