Spotless Group Ltd
(ASX:SPT) has scored a contract with BHP Billiton Ltd
(ASX:BHP) Nickel West to deliver cleaning and maintenance services in Western Australia.
The five year contract is due to start early next year and will see Spotless provide its services to BHP’s operations at Mt Keith and Leinster.
While the cost of the deal has not been disclosed, managing director Josef Farnik says the agreement involves services for more than 3,400 accommodation rooms and a range of other facilities.
Just last week Spotless announced that it has secured $US160 million in debt funding.
The group also forecast underlying earnings before interest and tax of between $42 million to $45 million in fiscal 2011, with revenue and earnings expected to exceed the prior year’s level.
Spotless Group reported a flat profit of $43.5 million in the year to 30 June 2010.
