Copper gold explorer Coppermoly recently provided a update on drilling at its Nakru-1 tenement on the island of New Britain. MD, Peter Swiridiuk reported that drilling from Barrick Exploration demonstrated a new copper discovery with grades double that expected by the geochemistry and geophysics. A second drill hole also underway at Nakru 1 will test the eastern edges of the system, tonnage potential and will be drilled to a depth of approximately 700M.
Naku-2 with a similar geophysics to is expected to be drilled in September as conditions on the ground have improved following some of the heaviest rain in 30 years.
