Gold company Andean Resources Ltd
(ASX:AND) has appointed Eric Edwards as the new CEO and Robert Menard as vice president of engineering and construction.
Mr Edwards has over 25 years experience in the gold mining sector and has held a number of senior positions in the industry.
Andean Resources is currently focused on the development phase of its 100% owned Cerro Negro gold project in Southern Argentina.
The company says the experience of both Mr Edwards and Mr Menard will be an important addition in the construction and development of the Cerro Negro project.
Andean Resources reported a loss of $7.24 million for the year ending 30 June 2009.
