Toll Road operator Intoll Group
(ASX:ITO) has reported strong revenue and traffic figures for the June quarter.
Revenue for the three months to June 30 increased from C$142.1 to C$161.9 million compared to the same period last year.
Intoll says the 407 ETR toll road in Toronto, Canada, has recorded its strongest growth since 2005, with a total revenue increase of 14% compared to the same time in 2009.
CEO Murray Beach says the toll roads the company have invested in have delivered positive results, continuing the trend of the past three quarters.
On Thursday Intoll received a $3.47 billion takeover offer from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, to purchase all of Intoll’s issued capital for $1.535 per security via a scheme of arrangement.
Intoll Group reported a loss of $1.7 billion for fiscal 2009.
