Rocklands Richfield increases coal resource

Rocklands Richfield Ltd (ASX:RCI) has announced an increase to the inferred resource within the Rocklands Coal Project.

Rocklands has upgraded the inferred resource to 700 million tonnes of coal.

The project is located in the Bowen Basin of central Queensland.

In addition, an exploration target of 200 to 300 million tonnes of coal has been estimated.

The potential exists outside a 2,000 meter radius buffer around points of observation.

It is uncertain if further exploration will result in the conversion of any of this coal to a resource.

Rocklands reported a loss of $15.56 million for the 2009 financial year.
