Crane hire company Boom Logistics Ltd
(ASX:BOL) has announced contract wins with a number of major resource companies.
The first contract is a three year supply and associated services contract with BHP Billiton Ltd (ASX:BHP) Iron Ore Operations in the North West with two further two year options to extend the contract.
CEO Brendan Mitchell says revenue from this contract is expected to be around $35 million over the next three years.
Boom has also secured a three year contract with Anglo American Metallurgical Coal in Queensland.
This contract is expected to generate revenue from the baseline services of more than $6 million over the next three years.
The company has also re-signed a refinery contract with in Western Australia for a further three years which is expected to earn the company $9 million in revenue over the three year term of the contract.
Boom says these contract wins support its expectation of a significantly improved fiscal 2011 performance and will strengthen the company’s platform for further growth in future years.
Boom Logistics posted a $27.49 million loss for the 12 months to June 30, 2009.
