The Reject Shop (ASX:TRS) has raised its full-year guidance and brushed away concerns that it is vulnerable to the loss of the government’s stimulus package.

Yesterday, the discount variety retailer posted a 21.7 per cent increase in net profit to just under $19 million for the first half of 2009-10, and says it's confident of achieving full-year guidance of NPAT between $22.0 million to $22.5 million.

The Reject Shop posted a 2009 net profit after tax of $19 million.
