Qantas
(ASX:QAN) budget offshoot Jetstar has launched a new customer charter, promising to give customers what they paid for or give them their money back.
Jetstar says if it breaches a 10-point charter and a customer then contacts the airline, it’ll compensate them with travel vouchers valued at $50 to $100 in local currency for each breach.
Jetstar says it’s trying to overcome the perception that low fares affect service quality.
The 2009 net profit result for Qantas was $117 million.
