Australand Property Group (ASX:ALZ) has appointed Rod Fehring as executive general manager of its residential division.

Mr Fehring most recently held the position of CEO of Lend Lease Primelife and has served in various executive roles with Lend Lease over more than 8 years.

Managing Director Bob Johnson says Rod’s extensive industry experience, expertise and credibility in the Australian residential sector will be of great benefit to Australand at what is a pivotal time for the business.

Mr Fehring will take on the role with Australand from March 22, 2010.

Australand Property Group posted a profit of $40.16 million for the year to December 30, 2008.
