Provider of sleep disorder equipment ResMed Inc
(ASX:RMD) has today reported record revenue and income for the quarter to December 31, 2009.
Net income for the three months to December 31 increased 36% to US$46 million on the back of a 23% rise in revenue to US$275.1 million.
For the half year period, ResMed says revenue rose 18% while net income from operations increased 42% to US$88.1 million.
President and CEO Kieran T. Gallahue says the company’s robust revenue growth, recent product launches and exciting pipeline continues to position ResMed well for the future.
ResMed reported profit of $180.49 million for the 12 months to June 30, 2009.
