(ASX:SYD) posted quite an impressive set of 2016 full year results.
Last year, the company had record passenger numbers, with its aeronautical revenue gaining 17.4% to $614.2 million. This was due to technology improvements and greater capacity. The company’s aeronautical revenue accounts for 51% of its total revenue.
In the the 12 months ending 31 December 2016, the company earned $1.36 billion in total revenue - which is 11% higher than the previous year.
As for its statutory profit after tax, it rose 13.4% to $320.9 million.
In total, the company paid a total distribution of 31 cents per stapled security for the 2016 full year. Its final distribution of 16 cents was paid a few days ago on 14 February.
