GPT’s reports $1.15B profit for 2016

GPT Group (ASX:GPT) has reported that its NPAT rose 32.8% to $1.15 billion in the full year ending 31 December 2016.

The Group’s funds from operations were up 5.6% to 29.88 cents.

GPT also says it had dividend per security (DPS) growth of 4%.

The Group’s CEO, Bob Johnston, says that all areas of the business contributed to the profit result.

GPT’s portfolio had a valuation uplift of $612 million and an occupancy rate of 97.1%.
