Clean Seas Seafood
(ASX:CSS) has reported strong sales volume growth in the first half of the current year – namely a 45% increase to 1,086 tonnes (compared to the previous corresponding period).
The company’s Australian sales were 56% of total sales, and had risen 18% to 605 tonnes.
As for Clean Seas’ export sales, that increased by 106% to 481 tonnes.
The company also says that Farm Gate Prices lifted in all markets, with Australian prices up 80 cents per kilogram in early October 2016 – the first increase in 3.5 years.
Clean Seas Seafood posted a net loss of $9 million at 30 June 2016.
