Westgold Resources Limited
(ASX:WGX) has announced it appointed Mr Peter B Schwann as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
The gold producer says Mr Schwann is an internationally recognised geologist and mining executive.
He will also serve on Westgold's remuneration and audit sub-committees. Mr Schwann will also remain as director of Aruma Resources Limited
(ASX:AAJ).
His appointment follows Mr Warren Hallam's resignation from the Westgold board, after Westgold demerged from metals developer, Metals X Limited
(ASX:MLX).
Westgold says Mr Hallam contributed to the growth of the Metals X and Westgold businesses over the past years.
