Origin Energy production and revenue grows in Dec quarter

Origin Energy Limited (ASX:ORG) has announced its quarterly production increased by 47% for the period ending 31 December 2016, compared to the prior corresponding period. 

Revenue for the December quarter was etched at $544.3 million, which was a rise of 157% compared to the prior corresponding period. 

Australia’s leading electricity and gas supplier says the stronger results were on the back of their recent investment into Australia Pacific LNG. 

The commencement of production from Halladale and Speculant in the Ottaway Basin also bolstered results.

Origin Energy Limited (ASX:ORG) posted a net loss of $576 million at 30 June 2016.
