Atrum Coal’s chairman resigns

Metallurgical coal explorer, Atrum Coal (ASX:ATU), has announced its Executive Chairman Mr Robert [Bob] Bell has resigned from the company, effective immediately.

The company says it wishes Bob well with the recuperation from his recent illness.

The board has initiated a search for a suitable Chief Executive Officer.

In the meantime, Cameron Vorias will continue to oversee the company’s operations, with assistance from the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Alan Ahlgren.

Atrum Coal reported a net loss of $11.7 million at 30 June 2016.
