Droneshield Limited (ASX: DRO) has entered a partnership with a government organisation in one of the mid-Atlantic states of the US.

As part of this deal, this government organisation will make a US military training area available to demonstrate DroneShield’s DroneGun and drone detection products.

Droneshield also says the government organisation will facilitate these demonstrations at no cost to the company.

Also, according to the company, the drone detection and defence market is undergoing rapid development, and DroneShield’s announcement follows the Iranian military’s reported recent development of drone rifles designed to bring down drones.

DroneShield reported net loss of $2.4 million at 30 June 2016
