YPB Group Limited
(ASX:YPB) has announced the Mexican Armed forces have placed their first order of Vital Record Documents with the company.
YPB says despite the first contract only being for 10,000 units, it marks a lucrative entry point to the military sector for its joint venture (JV) Affyrmx LLC.
The contract with the Armed Forces builds on earlier contracts won by the JV in 2016 in four other Mexican states.
YPB Executive Chairman John Houston says the first contract with the military was a step towards the JV becoming a key supplier to the Government of Mexico.
YPB Group Limited reported a net loss of $6.2 million dollars at 30 June 2016.
